Get your eye patches and bandages ready, for the almighty evil eye will destroy aaaaaaaaaaallll!!! Mwahahahahahahahaha! Oh… wait… Let me start all over again.
The main character for Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, Rika Takanashi is often shown with a medicinal eye patch covering her right eye which she believes to contain extremely powerful magic. With that in mind, medical and hygiene product manufacturer, White Cross has recently collaborated with the Kyoto Animation series for a very Chuunibyou-filled first aid kit.
The kit contains Rika’s signature eye patch which “suppresses” the awesome power of her “evil eye”. Whether the eye patches included in this kit can really suppress strong magic still remains to be seen however.
The kit also contains some bandages as well as some illustrated quo cards. The box itself contains several illustrations from the anime and features Dekomori, Rika as well as other characters.
This collaboration also serves as publicity for the upcoming Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! movie which is told from Rika’s perspective, rather than Yuuta Togashi’s. The movie will hit Japanese theaters later this month on September 14, 2013. Click here to watch the movie’s full trailer.
