With the movie coming in less than two months, A-1 Pictures has released the second trailer for Persona 3 the Movie #2 Midsummer Knight’s Dream, as well as details on the limited edition DVD and Blu-ray packages.In the new trailer, we get to see Makoto (main character) and friends hit the beach, plus the meeting with antagonists Takaya and Jin. There’s the infamous love hotel scene from the game, too.
Midsummer Knight’s Dream comes to Japanese theatres on June 4. Coming sooner is the DVD and Blu-ray release of Persona the Movie #1 Spring of Birth on May 14.
The standard edition will be available for 5,000 yen on DVD and 6,000 yen on Blu-ray. As extras, the disc will include seven minutes of unreleased footage, as well as audio commentary, a trailer and commercial collection, and exclusively for the Blu-ray, the movie previewed at the advance screening event.
The limited edition package will be on sale for 7,000 and 8,000 yen on DVD and Blu-ray, respectively, and include these bonus items:
- A folding collector’s box with art by the character designer Keisuke Watabe.
- A soundtrack CD with the main theme, “More Than One Heart”, and background music.
- A 48-page booklet
- 10 Super P3 decals
- 4 Illustration cards
