With the release of the highly anticipated live action Lupin III movie already today, August 19, 2014, several Lupin III-themed bread bread will be sold in several Newdays and Kiosk stores, and they will feature the “animated” versions of the live action characters.
Lupin III (played by Shun Oguri) himself will be will have a french toast worth 134 yen, Fujiko Mine (played by Meisa Kuroki) will have berry bread, and Daisuke Jigen (played by Tetsuji Tamayama) will be having some steamed cake worth 123 yen. Goemon Ishikawa (Gou Ayano) will be having his hands full with some Katsu Sausages worth 139 yen, and Detective Zenegata (Tadanobu Asano) will be searching for Lupin with some Chicken Nanban Dogs worth 149 yen.
Each packaging has an artwork of the characters. How do they stand up to the anime or Monkey Punch’s original manga?
