The A Certain Magical Index spin-off manga, A Certain Scientific Railgun, which focuses on the #3 ranked level 5 esper, Mikoto Misaka, will be having its latest chapter postponed until September because of the artist’s poor health.
The new chapter, which was supposed to coincide with Touma and Index’s trip to Italy, was supposed to be included in this month’s issue of Dengeki Daioh magazine, however, according the the manga’s editor who made the announcement via his twitter page, the author had an eye infection which was caused by over exposure to Blue LED light.
The manga is written by A Certain series creator Kazuma Kamachi and is illustrated by Motoi Fuyukawa. Though it is a spin-off, its popularity even rivals that of the original light novel series.
