It has been reported that Kadokawa Shouten’s manga magazine Newtype Ace is now on hiatus. The hiatus will start immediately with Newtype Ace #23 which was supposed to go on sale this month.
This will be the first time the magazine will go on hiatus since it was launched in 2011 and no exact date was given on when this hiatus will end. Kadokawa Shoten also announced that their mangas will be transferred to their other magazines, most of which will be going to Kadokawa Nico Nico Ace. (More about Manga here on SGCafe via this link)
Their manga titles ‘Tiger & Bunny‘, ‘Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince‘ and ‘Suisei no Gargantia‘ will be transferred to Kadokawa Nico Nico Ace issue #94 which will be released on August 20. Kadokawa Nico Nico Ace #95 due August 27 meanwhile will contain ‘Space Battleship Yamato 2199‘ and ‘Fantasista Doll Mix‘.
Kadokawa Nico Nico Ace will also house more “refugees” from the hiatus as Issue #98 due September 17 will contain ‘Koukaku no Pandora – Ghost Urn’ and Issue #99 due September 24 will contain “Full Metal Panic! Another’
Comptiq Magazine which will be released on September meanwhile will contain ‘Code Geass: Oz the Reflection‘.
