Just in case you need another good reason to stay hydrated in the sweltering summer weather while visiting Japan: Convenience store chain Lawson has launched a Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie (Part 3) X Lawson promotional campaign where customers who buy selected Asahi drinks get to bring home premiums themed after the smash-hit anime series.
Starting tomorrow, August 13, Lawson shoppers who purchase a 600ml pet bottle of Asahi Jurokucha, or a 470ml pet bottle of Spiral Grape will receive an exclusive original gym/P.E. attire Madoka Magica mini-figurine, one of six available designs.

Then, beginning August 20, shoppers who purchase a 6-pack of either Wonda Morning Shot or Wanda Kin no Bitou low-sugar coffee will receive a Madoka Magica mini clear file (one of 10 designs) featuring the Madoka girls in cheerleader outfits and swimwear.
There’s no end date as to when either promotion will end, but in both cases it’s while stocks last.
So if you happen to be a Madoka fan in Japan, remember to stock up on coffee, tea, or… er, Spiral Grape!
