Sony Computer Entertainment has used PlayStation 3′s domestic digital recording system Torne to rank the top twenty anime in the Tokyo metropolitan area. The record accounts for shows watched between July 1 and August 4. Some of the results are obvious, but others will surprise you.

Well, there you have it. Are you surprised? To be honest, I would be speechless if Attack on Titan wasn’t number one. Did you see the latest episode?! It’s about to get REAL.
Silver Spoon moved up from 6th place last time to 3rd place, while A Certain Scientific Railgun S dropped from 2nd to 4th place.
Remember that these results are not to be taken lightly. We are not talking about a few hundred participants – over 100,000 unique users log onto the PlayStation network every weekday. This means that by the end of the month, nearly 330,000 people’s views have been taken into account.
And they have spoken: Attack on Titan is a winner.
