Girls Und Panzer is an anime about tanks and World of Tanks is a Free-to-play MMO about… well… tanks, so it’s basically a no-brainer for the two to go together like milk and cookies.
It was recently announced last July that the two extremely popular tank titles will be doing a collaboration and this is it! The official Japanese website for Wargaming.net’s World of Tanks has recently released a manga and it features many of the anime’s characters like Miho and the rest of the Oarai Angler Fish team as well as some of the girls from rival schools like Darjeeling and Katyusha.
The manga teaches beginners about the pros and cons of the different tank classes you can play in the game namely light tanks, medium tanks, heavy tanks and tank destroyers. If WoT is absolutely Free-to-Play, this Girls Und Panzer manga is absolutely Free-To-Read and you can read it via their official website. Note that the manga is in Japanese and no translations have been provided at the moment.
The manga is drawn by Hagi Midori, author of The Strange Tale of The Twilight Demon. Another manga is set to be released by the website in the future so fans of the MMO as well as the anime can definitely look forward to it.
