The latest anime adaptation of NisiOisin‘s Monogatari series has certainly proven that it’s still one of the hottest anime series out there.
The current season’s first part was called Nekomonogatari (Shiro) and it focused on the beautiful Tsubasa Hanekawa who most certainly has her fair share of supernatural problems. Kodansha, publishers or the original light novel series, is releasing a new magazine and they are basing it on her character.
The magazine, titled Sono Shito Hanekawa Tsubasa (アニメ<物語>シリーズヒロイン本 其ノ壹 羽川翼 [ペーパーバック]) is presented as a fashion magazine with the lovely miss Hanekawa modelling elegantly in casual-wear as well as her school uniform. The illustrations were done by the character designer for the anime, Akio Watanabe.
Fashion model Risa Hirako also cosplays the smart and sassy class representative in the magazine. Hirako is known for being the cover girl for various Japanese fashion magazines. She cosplayed both Hanekawa and her alter-ego, Black Hanekawa.
The magazine also features an interview with Tsubasa’s voice actress, Yui Horie as well as some horoscopes, you know, what you usually find in some fashion magazines. The magazine will be released on September 25, 2013 and will cost 945 yen.
