The third Madoka Magica movie titled Madoka Magica: the Rebellion Story has already garnered a lot of attention from their promotion campaigns like the Madoka itasha taxi in Sapporo to the Madoka-themed popcorns.
Now, seven of the voice cast members have each drawn some very special illustrations featuring the very characters they voiced. Aoi Yuuki, Eri Kitamura, Kaori Mizuhashi, Ai Nonaka, Chiwa Saito, Emiri Kato and Kana Asumi each drew the character they voice from the upcoming movie as well as a special message to the fans.
Madoka Kaname’s voice actress, Aoi Yuuki drew this lovely rendition of Goddess Madoka (also known to fans as Godoka or Madokami)… Well, would you look at that! Apparently Aoi Yuuki isn’t just a good singer and voice actress, she also has some talent with art!
Eri Kitamura meanwhile drew this cute super deformed version of Sayaka Miki whom she voices in the anime as well as in the movies.
Kaori Mizuhashi meanwhile drew this simple picture of Mami Tomoe with her head still attached.
Ai Nonaka drew this simple picture of Kyouko Sakura with all those snacks that she loves so much.
Kana Asumi draws her version of Nagisa Momoe, the newest Magical Girl on the block.
Kyuubey’s voice actress Emiri Kato meanwhile draws her cute (yet heartless) character.
And finally, instead of doing an illustration, Homura Akemi’s voice actress, Chiwa Saito chose to do some calligraphy.
All these illustrations can be found in the Madoka Magica Piamook which can now be ordered online via Amazon for 1,200 yen.
