Ichika Orimura has been both lucky and unlucky when it comes to the food served up by his friends over at IS Academy with some of the girls being great cooks while some are well… let’s just say one particular British girl just can’t cook.
Good Smile Cafe is now offering the food Ichika is usually offered in a daily basis with their IS: Infinite Stratos 2 menu.
Lingyin “Rin” Hwang has made a Childhood promise with Ichika to “cook for him everyday”. In season 1, she cooked some Sweet and Sour Pork for him and the Good Smile Cafe is offering up her take on the dish in their menu. Served with rice, sea weed soup and an IS place mat, this dish costs 980 yen.
In honor of the tough-as-nails German soldier, Good Smile Cafe is offering up some traditional German food. Pork Schnitzel can be typically seen in many German tables and the Laura Bodewig Schnitzel is served with a side of Sauerkraut and dinner rolls. The meal costs 980 yen.
And then we go to Cecilia’s offering which is her take on a… um… a sandwich. Yes, that sandwich she tried offering Ichika and the others. Don’t say I did not warn you… this is Cecilia Alcott we are talking about. The sandwich has special blue mayonnaise containing who-knows-what and the meal costs 880 yen
For dessert, the Houki’s Heart Plate offers some traditional Japanese dango to represent a very traditional Yamato Nadeshiko. This dessert is served with some traditional Japanese tea and costs 680 yen.
In culinary school, we learn to use French cooking techniques. The French are known for their cuisine and the French meal Charlotte Dunois is offering just screams French. Some scrumptious French macaroons and madeleines make up this French dessert. It is served up with a cup of hit tea and some marmalade.
Each food menu item comes with an IS place mat. An additional 200 yen can be for items in the drink menu. Individually, the drink menu items cost 480 yen and come with their own special coaster.
The Akatsubaki: Fruit Ade mixed with tonic water with nata de coco and a side of lime. Comes with a Houki coaster
The Blue Tears: Blue Hawaii soda with ginger ale and nata de coco. Comes with a cecilia coaster
The Shenlong: Grape juice with grape jelly and a side of lemon. Comes with a Rin coaster
The Raphael Revive MK-II: Blood orange juice mixed with regular orange juice and white water with a slice of orange. Comes with a Charlotte coaster
Schwarzer Regen: A mixture of coke and lemonade and topped with a cherry. Comes with a Laura coaster
This limited edition IS menu will only be until November 17, 2013 so better hurry up. The Good Smile Cafe will also be distributing these IS2 buttons.
