Yudetamago’s classic Shounen Jump! wrestling manga, Kinnikuman is about a steamed meat bun (nikuman) themed wrestler who powers up using garlic and thanks to Family Mart, the Kinnikuman finally becomes a real nikuman.
This will be Family Mart’s third Kinnikuman Nikuman following the Warsman nikuman and Ramenman nikuman. The steamed bun will of course contain meat which is 100% Australian beef flank and will have a donburi (beef bowl) flavor.
However, these meat buns will be limited edition as only 720,000 of them will be served all over Japan. The making of this meat bun is special as it was supervised by manga author Yudetamago himself.
These limited edition Kinnikuman Nikumans will be served starting January 14, 2014.
Kinnikuman became one of Weekly Shounen Jump!’s most popular manga series during the 80′s and even had a popular anime adaptation.
