Love Live! is off to the races as the μ’s girls team up with the Pacific Racing Team which is part of the Super GT car racing series which often takes place in Japan and Malaysia.
Pacific Racing Team director Jinno Motoki has announced that the race team will be collaborating with Love Live! in the upcoming 2014 season of the Super GT. The collaboration has been named “2014 Season: Dreams Come True with Love Live!” (2014シーズンは『ラブライブ！』とともに夢を叶える).
The team ain’t no stranger when it comes to anime as they have previously collaborated with the hit anime and manga series Squid Girl to feature the Pacific NAC Squid Girl Ferrari. The Squid Girl Ferrari participated in the Super GT from 2011-2012.
Last year, Pacific Racing Team collaborated with Ghost in the Shell: Arise and featured the Pacific NAC Ghost in the Shell: Arise DR Porsche for the Super GT’s 2013 season.
The Pacific Racing team is aiming to reach the podium with the help of the Love Live! school idols for the 2014 race season. More details will be announced on the official collaboration page come mid-March 2014.
