Sword Art Online Extra Edition provided an nice epilogue for the hit anime series, Sword Art Online, with plenty of poolside fan service and action as well as an easy-to-understand recap of the first season.
Now, the anime, which also serves as the upcoming second season’s prologue will be released as a Blu-ray this April 2014 and sure enough, the limited edition cover image features SAO heroines Asuna, Leafa, Lizbeth, Silica and Yui as their ALO avatars wearing bikinis while having some fun under the Alfheim sun.
The limited edition Blu-ray set will contain the Sword Art Extra Edition Blu-ray, a bonus character collection CD, a 16-page booklet, and an original “commentary” anime short featuring super deformed versions of the characters known as “Sword Art Offline Extra Edition“.
The Limited Edition Blu-Ray set is scheduled for release April 23, 2014 and is now available for pre-orders via Amazon for 7,085 yen.
