The Kill la Kill official website has recently announced that they will be having an official character popularity poll and it will be conducted by Japanese media website, Web NewType, which is also the website for Newtype Magazine.
Fans can submit their votes for their favorite characters from Studio Trigger’s highly popular action anime series like main character Ryuko Matoi, the lovable Mako, The cool Satsuki Kiryuuin, The hulking disciplinary committee head, Ira Gamagoori, the smart-talking Senketsu, the artistic Nonon Jakuzure, the sadistic Nue Harime and many many more only until 11:59 pm (23:59) of March 20, 2014 (Japan time).
The results of the character poll will be announced inside the pages of the May issue of Newtype Magazine which is scheduled to be released on April 10, 2014.
You can vote for your favorite Kill la Kill character through this link (language is in Japanese). You can vote via PC or mobile and you have to submit your birthday and gender when you vote. Even if the language is in Japanese, people from outside of Japan can still vote for their favorite Kill la Kill character. You can also write a comment why you like the character you have chosen. For example, if you choose Gamagoori, you can write why in a comment box next to his name. There are 50 characters to choose from.
