GoHands’ hit anime series, K, may only be known by one single letter but it is regarded as one of 2012′s most popular anime series, and they will also be getting a live action stage play adaptation thanks to Marvelous AQL which has also turned other hit anime like Yowamushi Pedal and Hakuoki into stage plays.
The K stage play will be shown at the Roppongi Blue Theater from August 6-10, 2014. It will be directed by Kenichi Suemitsu and already has a teaser site opened.’
Playing the lead role of Yashiro Isana will be Ryo Matsuda who is known to Kamen Rider fans as Hideyasu Jonouchi or Kamen Rider Gridon
Playing Kuroh Yatogami will be Yoshihiko Aramaki who is no stranger to the theater scene as he has played Kai Yuujirou in the Prince of Tennis stage adaptation
Playing Saruhiko Fushimi will be Hiroki Suzuki who played Shuichiro Oishi in The Prince of Tennis musical
Keisuke Ueda, who played the human gate for the Lizardman in Kamen Rider Wizard will be playing Misaki Yata
Finally, Seijirou Nakamura, who appeared in the Butai Sengoku Basara stage play as Ishida Mitsunari will be taking up the role of “The Red King”, Mikoto Suoh.
