Upcoming mecha anime Aldnoah.Zero has already generated a lot of attention among fans and now, its very first TV commercial has finally been aired.
The anime is written by critically acclaimed writer Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Psycho Pass, Fate/ Zero, Kamen Rider Gaim) and follows an alternate history where Earth is at war with Mars because of the discovery of a Hypergate in the moon’s surface back in 1972.

A-1 Pictures and Troyca will be handling the production while Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero) will be at the helm as the director. It will air July 2014 as part of the 2-14 Summer season.
