Surprise! Mushishi shocked Jojo and Love Live! to earn the most highly rated anime premiere in Niconico this season. One of the biggest surprises in anime premieres this season is that two of the most highly anticipated anime did not rate so high with their premieres. I am talking about #11 The Irregular at Magic High School which has been touted as this year’s most highly anticipated new anime and #15 Mekaku City Actors which is also one of the most hyped new anime this Spring.

In terms of viewership however, Mushishi, Jojo, Love Live!, The Irregular at Magic High School and Mekaku City Actors, along with Kenzen Robo Daimidaler and yuri anime Riddle Story of Devil (Akuma no Riddle) took in the most views with their respective premieres.
