The official website for the Gundam franchise, Gundam.info, has announced that during the 53rd Shizuoka Hobby Show at Twin Messe Shizuoka, Bandai will be revealing a new GunPla category which will be in 1/100 scale.
The Master Grade (MG) has dominated Bandai’s 1/100 scale GunPlas in terms of popularity because of their fine detail and better articulation. Now this new category would be making a challenge to the time-tested MG series which many people (including yours truly) have collected and grown to love for years.
Bandai has already said that this new GunPla category will have a “High Detail Appearance” and “Sophisticated Parts Composition.”
Bandai also announced that they will be showing off their upcoming GunPLa like the HGBF 1/144 Wing Gundam Fenice Rinascita and HGBF 1/144 Gundam Exia Amazing.
They will also be featuring their RG 1/144 Gundam Exia, their massive HG 1/144 Neo Zeong, several new LBX PlaMos and many more.
The 53rd Shizuoka Hobby Show will be held from May 17-18 at the Twin Messe Shizuoka.
