Avex Pictures has started streaming the full trailer for their upcoming New Initial D movie titled Shin Gekijō-ban Initial D Legend 1 -Kakusei-. This will be the first in a trilogy of anime movies which will be a retelling of Shuuichi Shigeno’s popular racing manga, Initial D, which has been adapted into many video games and anime series.
The trailer also confirms a new voice cast for the movie. Here they are (in order of announcement from the video):
- Mamoru Miyano as Takumi Fujiwara
- Yuuichi Nakamura as Keisuke Takahashi
- Daisuke Ono as Ryousuke Takahashi
- Maaya Uchida as Natsuki Mogi
- Minoru Shiraishi as Itsuki Takeuchi
- Hiroaki Hirata as Bunta Fujiwara

The first movie will premiere in Japan on August 23, 2014.
