Takumi Fujiwara’s iconic car, the Fujiwara Tofu Shop Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 from the classic anime and manga series, Initial D, was put on display over at the Shinjuku Piccadilly to promote the upcoming Initial D Legend 1 movie which will hit Japanese theaters this August 23, 2014.
The car, featured in its classic black and white with the words Fujiwara Tofu Shop (private) printed in the doors has been letting others eat its dust ever since Shuichi Shigeno first launched his beloved racing manga back in 1995. The car was on display on the first floor of Shinjuku Piccadilly last August 5, 2014.
The movie will be the first part of a trilogy which will retell the entire series.
