Madoka Magica and Nisekoi headline Shaft"s Comiket 86 goodies

With Comiket 86 drawing ever closer, Shaft‘s official website has announced their line-up of event goodies that they will be selling during the bi-annual otaku extravaganza, and as usual, these items have been guaranteed to be sold out within the event as two very popular series headline the Shaft item line-up.


Madoka Magica is without a doubt, one of Shaft’s most successful series, and the MadoMagi magical girls comprise most of Shaft’s Comiket 86 merchandise. The special Madoka Magica “Rakugaki Note” book and poster set  will be sold during the event for 3,000 yen. “Rakugaki Note” contains commentary from the anime’s staff as well as several special artworks.

The Puella Magi Madoka Magica T-shirts come in five designs, one for each magical girl – Madoka, Homura, Mami, Kyouko, and Sayaka. Each shirt costs 3,000 yen and only comes in one size which is 74cm x 55cm.

Some items will only be sold for specific days, such as the Madoka Magica Summer Tapestry which features all five MadoMagi girls. The tapestry will only be available during the last two days of the event, which are August 16 and 17, 2014. This A1 size tapestry costs 4,000 yen.

Nisekoi, which took the hearts of many anime fans this year, will also be featured in the Shaft booth. The limited edition Nisekoi production notes will contain 304 pages of artworks, settings, character profiles, and more. It will be available during all three days of Comiket 86 and will cost 3,000 yen.

The Shaft booth can be found over at Booth #211 over at Tokyo Big Sight’s West Exhibition building. Comiket 86 will be held from August 15 – 17, 2014 at the Tokyo Big Site.
