Before she became one of the most successful and most sought-after voice actresses today, Kana Hanazawa was making regular appearances on Japanese TV as a junior idol, particularly a show called Yappari Sanma Daisensei. Now, rare images of her days as a junior idol in Akiba have recently surfaced, which present her as a 15-year old fresh face, still trying to make a name for herself.
She certainly looks a lot fresher in her junior idol days huh? Take note, this is before she became the voice for Black Rock Shooter, OreImo’s Kuroneko, Infinite Stratos’s Charlotte Dunois, To Love-ru’s Mikan Yuuki, and Haganai’s Kobato Hasegawa.
Who would have thought that this innocent-looking face would go on to voice scary characters like Hyperdimension Neptunia’s Iris Heart, Monogatari’s Nadeko Sengoku, and of course, Tokyo Ghoul’s Rize? Well, now, she looks a whole lot more womanly and mature though…
