Korg introduces the Miku Stomp effector for guitars [Video]

Japanese musical instrument brand Korg is teaming up with Hatsune Miku once again for a special Miku Stomp Effector for guitars for some some pretty unique sound effects which feature the voice of the virtual diva herself.

The effector contains several recorded Miku phrases which makes Miku sing to the beat of the way you pick your guitar. Korg has even released a video of how it works with Miku singing some Do-Re-Mi as the musician plays his guitar which is connected to the Miku Stomp.

The unit must be connected between the guitar and amplifier for you to play your guitar to the beat of Miku’s singing. The guitar is connected to the device’s input port while the amplifier is connected to the output port. You can also tune the Miku Stomp to your own preferences.

The Miku Stomp effector has 11 different effects to choose from which will certainly make for a very unique guitar experience. This won’t be the first time the music company has teamed up with Miku. Their previous collaboration introduced a Hatsune Miku electric piano.

The Miku Stomp Effector is scheduled for release October 2014, however, no actual price for this item has been announced thus far. I wonder how musicians will use this to give their music a Vocaloid twist?
