Winter 2015 is now over, and with the new Spring 2015 anime now taking over the previous season’s time slots, the Japanese ranking website, Goo, has asked 500 people, 250 males, 250 females, on which of the anime which premiered back in January, was the one which became a hit.
The survey, which was conducted from March 11 – 16, was conducted when the Winter 2015 season was now winding down. Here are their findings:

If you take into consideration that the more mainstream and non-otaku viewers in japan, the Top 5 would certainly ring a lot of bells as these five titles have proven to be quite a hit among people who don’t watch too much anime.
#1 ranked Assassination Classroom is certainly a hit as the anime has proven to be very entertaining, and that may be the reason why many fans are thinking the same, that it really is a hit deserving to be #1.
Kuroko’s Basketball, which took second place, certainly needs no introduction while third place Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is known to have plenty of followers in Japan. Both series are without a doubt huge hits when it comes to their fans.
