Nitroplus‘ popular mascot character Super Sonico will be featured in a limited edition beer exclusively made in Nara, Japan.
The Soni plateau farm garden’s microbrewery in Nara has collaborated with Nitroplus to bring Super Sonico fans and beer enthusiasts this unique and exclusive treat and was done with the help of the Village Development Corporation and the Nara Prefecture planning and design office. This collaboration was made since Super Sonico (すーぱーそに子) and Soni Plateau (Soni Kougen/ 曽爾高原) sounds similar.
The 330 mL beer bottles feature Sonico with the Soni Plateau at the background. The beers will be sold as a set of three along with a super deformed Super Sonico bottle opener as well as a Super Sonico box. There will only be 500 of these sets made.
The Soni plateau farm garden will start accepting reservations for these limited edition beer sets tomorrow, September 21, 2013. Each set costs 2,625 yen.
