Men’s apparel brand Strict G has recently teamed up with all-time classic anime Mobile Suit Gundam once again, and this time, they are giving us some cool new Gundam-themed men’s jackets.
Strict G previously collaborated with Gundam by bringing us some very special Gundam apparel which came with a Mastermind-themed Perfect Grade (PG) gunpla.
The 78 stadium jacket is due for release mid-December 2013 with the capital G (which stands for Gundam) and the number 78 (which obviously stands for the 78 in RX-78-2). The jacket also has some patches attached to it like the Earth Federation insignia. This jacket costs 78,000 yen and is perfect for any Gundam fan.
These A-2 flight jackets meanwhile fly the colors of the mighty Principality of Zeon. Worn by US Army servicemen in World War II, these flight jackets really bring out Gundam’s war theme. These come in two colors, namely black and pink which clearly represents Zeon’s ace, Char Aznable who is also known as the Red Comet. These jackets are also scheduled for release mid-December and will cost 92,400 yen.
These jackets are part of Strict G’s Fall and Winter collection which holds the theme “Universality” which would really fit the Gundam timeline which hails from the “Universal Century”.
