With its 20th anniversary celebrations already underway, Sailor Moon can be found just about anywhere from cosmetics to stage musicals and of course, the much awaited new anime.
The classic magical girl series is now collaborating with Japanese department store chain Isetan. Several Sailor Moon merchandise, most particularly some tote bags and paper aprons, were sold yesterday, September 11, 2013 at Isetan’s Shinjuku Main Building branch. Both the bag and the paper aprons are designed by renowned Japanese fashion designer Keisuke Kanda.
The Sailor Moon bag is made of 100% cotton and 100% polyester and is currently being sold for 22,050 yen.
The paper aprons come in the designs of each of the five main Sailor Warriors, namely Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. Each apron is currently being sold for 1,575 yen.
The department store will also be offering this special Sailor Moon socks which can only be bought over-the-counter starting September 14, 2013.
This limited-time collaboration will only last until September 24.
