With the Evangelion exhibition heading to Kumamoto Prefecture’s Museum of Art, the exhibition’s official website has revealed that the prefecture’s lovable mascot, Kumamon, has somehow transformed into the Evangelion Unit 01. I’m pretty sure that he’s gonna have one very powerful AT Field…
This is all to promote the upcoming Evangelion Exhibition, which will be hitting the Kumamoto Prefectural Museum of Art starting February 28, 2015 and will be featuring several exhibits and pieces from the classic mecha anime such as art pieces, storyboards, and more. The exhibition will also feature limited edition Evangelion X Kumamon merchandise like key chains and clear files.
Kumamon is no stranger to collaborations as he previously teamed up with Kenshin Himura and Shishio from Rurouni Kenshin, as well as Tekken’s Heihachi Mishima. Evangelion-01 on the other hand recently had a run-in with the iconic transformer, Optimus Prime.
