With the announcement of its April 2015 premiere as well as its character design reveal during Jump Festa 2014, Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma may be one of the hottest anime coming into the new year, and Warner Brothers Anime’s official youtube channel has started streaming its latest PV.
Oh, if we can only taste and smell what Souma is cooking up, it would make my day complete… and remember kids, when chopping, always hide your fingers or they will get cut-off.
Food Wars: Shokugeki no Souma follows Souma Yukihara, a chef’s son who dreams of working in his father’s restaurant and aims to surpass his father’s culinary skills. However, just as he graduates from middle school, his father closes down their restaurant to cook in America. He then gets challenged by his father to go to an exclusive culinary school where only 10% of the students graduate. The manga is written by Yuuto Tsukada and illustrated by Shun Saeki.
