Fujimi Shobo’s Fantasia Bunko has quite a good year with their various light novel series like High School DXD and Date A Live, as well as some of their titles getting anime adaptations like Amagi Brilliant Park, Trinity Seven, and Chaika The Coffin Princess. To thank the fans for their continued support, they conducted a thanksgiving event over at BelleSalle Akihabara with plenty of celebrations.
Outside the event venue, Fujimi Shobo assembled several cosplayers who dressed up as some of their most well known characters like Date A Live’s Tohka, Chaika the Coffin Princess’s titular character, Amagi Brilliant Park’s Isuzu Sento, Seiya Kanie, and Moffle, and many more.
The show was definitely stolen by Amagi Brilliant Park’s top (badass) fairy mascot, Moffle, who seems to have attracted more followers and photographers than the female cosplayers.
The most well known characters in the mix were Chaika, Tohka, 50Cent Isuzu Sento, and Kanye West Seiya Kanie who also gladly posed for the photographers… they still got upstaged by Moffle though. I wonder if Chaika did the Chaika face? Now that would be a “Shocking Truth”…
With ‘Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata’ getting its own anime adaptation to air in January, one of the LN’s heroines, Eriri Spencer Sawamura, was also represented.
Also present were cosplayers who dressed up as Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan’s three heroines, Lecty Eisenbach, Rico Flamen, and Misora Whitale.
Fantasia Bunko has produced several unforgettable anime series like High School DXD, Full Metal Panic!, Stigma of the Wind (Kaze no Stigma), Sunday Without God, and Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?, so it would only be fitting that they would do their own thanksgiving event as well.
