The main site for the last Madoka Magica movie updated again and has revealed another surprise for fans, and it’s a magical one at that.
Nagisa Momoe, a new character, will be joining the magical girls for Madoka Magica Rebellion Story on October 26. She’s being voiced by Nyarko-san’s Kana Asumi, bringing even more moe and cuteness to the generally dark story.
Not much is known about Momoe just yet. We don’t know what wish she made to become a magical girl, nor why she was brought in to support the girls in their rebellion. The second key visual has added her in hiding behind Mami though, so the two should hopefully make it through the first act of the movie.
Her closeness to Mami and the polka-dots on her dress has even led some fans to speculate that she might be the magical girl fated to become the dessert witch Charlotte.
Whatever her role in the movie is, it’s exciting enough to see a new magical girl added to the side of good instead of despair.
