With Gundam Seed Destiny currently being remastered in HD, Bandai is releasing the Metal Build version Shin Asuka’s top-of-the-line High Mobility mobile suit, the Destiny Gundam.
This 190-mm G.U.N.D.A.M. is made of Die Cast Metal with some PVC and ABC parts. It is designed by Five Skull and supervised by the Gundam Seed Destiny’s animator, Satoshi Shigeta.
Along with some accessories like hand replacements, beam effect parts, joint pedestal and stand, the Metal build Gundam is equipped with the following weaponry:
- 1 x M2000GX high-energy long-range beam cannon
- 1 x MMI-714 “Arondight” anti-ship sword
- Anti-Beam shield
- High Energy beam rifle
The 1/100 Metal Build Destiny Gundam will be released December 2013 and it will cost 17,000 yen. It will be up for pre-order soon.
