Romantic comedy anime Nisekoi is still going strong and has captured the hearts of many fans with its adorable and wacky cast. To celebrate the anime series inspired by Naoshi Komi’s bestselling Shounen Jump! manga, Animate Akihabara has set up a display dedicated to Nisekoi.
The special Nisekoi display can be seen over at Animate Akihabara’s 7th floor and will be there until June 1, 2014. The display not only features Nisekoi merchandise but also a large illustration of the four anime heroines, Chitoge Kirisaki, Kosaki Onodera, Marika Tachibana, and Seishirou Tsugumi.
One of the display’s highlights is the high school uniform usually worn by Chitoge and Onodera. People are allowed to touch the costume, however, excessive physical contact is not allowed.
Dakimakuras (body pillows) of Chitoge and Onodera are also on display. Like the Nisekoi uniform, people are allowed to touch the costume, however, excessive physical contact is not allowed. Also on display are several goodies from the anime like mangas, drama CDs, posters, wall scrolls, and other character goods.
The display also previewed a few upcoming Nisekoi goodies like Good Smile Company’s Nendoroid Chitoge Kirisaki, as well as the anime’s Blu-ray releases. Chitoge is on the cover of the Blu-ray Vol, 1 while Onodera is at the cover of Blu-ray Vol. 2.
Raku Ichijou’s pendant, as well as the keys from Marika, Onodera and Chitoge can be seen hanging up the ceiling. Really makes you wonder who the “Promised Girl” really is, huh?
You can also take photos with the life-size standees of the anime’s four main girls. So, which girl do you want to have a picture with? Are you in Team Onodera? Team Chitoge? Team Marika? Or are you in Team Seishirou? Or do you want to have a picture with all four?
