Ever wondered how Sailor Moon characters would look like if the TV anime series was a western cartoon? Check out these works by DeviantART user Ann Marcellino. She has re-created the popular anime series’ various scenes and characters in modern-day western animation style.
The new anime adaptation Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal premieres this July worldwide (via Nico Nico Douga). It is a 26-episode series which will be broadcasted on the first and third Saturdays of each month, running for one whole year.
Just recently, a special advanced screening of the brand new series was announced and it is scheduled on June 30 (Usagi’s birthday).
