Some of the biggest names in the hobby industry have gathered at Makuhari Messe Hall once again for the World Hobby Fair 2015 (Winter) Tokyo Conference. The big names which attended the hobby event included Bandai, Banpresto, Takara Tomy, Nintendo, and more. The event features not only figure and plastic model building, but also game prizes, trading card games, video games, and more.
Let’s start things off with Bandai, whose displays were highlighted by the three new and upgraded versions of the three main mechas from the Gundam Build Fighters Try series, which are the Try Burning Gundam, the Lightning Gundam Full Burnern, and the Star Winning Gundam. Also featured are other GunPla like a clear version of the Build Burning Gundam and a Hi-Nu Gundam. There were also several Candy Toys from Youkai Watch as well as a PlaMo version of Pikachu riding Mega Charizard Y.
Speaking of Pokemon and Youkai Watch, Banpresto meanwhile had plenty of them in their booth, which was highlighted by some Crane King prize plushies from the two mega-popular series.
Takara Tomy was also at the event, and like Bandai and Banpresto, they also showed some Pokemon.
Trading Card Game (TCG) giants Bushiroad and Konami showed off their wares while manga magazine, Weekly Shounen Sunday, held a Detective Conan exhibit.
Finally, Nintendo’s booths had some Pokemon and several Amiibo figures, which also means, yes, even more Pokemon!
