Since 2010, Snow Miku has been a fixture in Hokkaido’s annual Sapporo Snow Festival, and to promote the event, the Virtual Diva-turned-Snow-Queen has starred in a new TV ad, which is currently being shown in the Hokkaido area.
The ad features Snow Miku 2015, also known as Snow Miku, Snow Bell Ver., as well as some of the festivities which include a sculpture of her. Also featured are her Nendoroid and figma versions, as well as a few other Snow Miku merchandise and other exhibitions. There will also be a Miku Expo event which will feature a live concert by the virtual diva herself happening from Feb. 7 – 8, 2015 at Zepp Sapporo.
Snow Miku has also teamed up with Madoka Magica’s Homura Akemi for a cross-over which will promote both the event and the third Madoka Magica movie’s Blu-ray and DVD release. A Snow Miku health drink was also made just for the event, which will be held from Feb. 7 – 8, 2015 in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
