It’s winter in Japan once again, and JIBA, or the Japanese Ita-Board Association, has gathered its members once again for their annual gathering and charity event which not only aims to promote ita-boards, or anime-themed snow boards, but also to help raise money for local charities.
This itaboard event located up the slopes of Nagano featured not only itaboards, but also cosplayers. The event also hosted special guests, such as voice actresses Kana Ueda (Fate’s Rin Tohsaka) and Natsuko Kuwatani (Rozen Maiden’s Suiseiseki).
Looks like JIBA spent a lot of time promoting the event, as the promotions include itashas and newspaper spreads.
Talk shows and cosplayers serving warm meals were also a big part of the event.
Looks like the guests had fun too, here’s Kana Ueda showing off her skiing skills
But of course, it is all about the Itaboards
Some of these itaboarders and itaskiers were even cosplaying!
The event really looks crazy! Makes you wish you were there, right?
