In one of the wildest, most surprising, and most unexpected collaborations in the history of music, the iconic heavy metal rock band, KISS, is taking on the highly-popular Japanese idol group, Momoiro Clover Z. The Music Video for their collaboration song titled Yume no Ukiyo ni Saitemina has finally been streamed.
Yeah, I’d be pretty intimidated of Gene Simmons too, tongue and all! The music video featured the vocals by Momoiro Clover Z with Kiss performing not only the instruments but also providing background vocals. The video also featured animation designed by Kill la Kill character designer, Sushio. The song is already released via iTunes in 128 countries around the world.
Meanwhile, the iconic rock band will also be releasing their own version of Yume no Ukiyo ni Saitemina along with a new song titled “Samurai Son”. All this is a lead-up to KISS’s 40th Anniversary World Tour where they will perform at the Tokyo Dome alongside the J-pop idol group.
