Yesterday, Psycho-Pass the Movie finally made its long-awaited premiere, and during a special premiere event in Shinjuku Wald-9, the anime movie’s voice cast, led by none other than Akane Tsunemori’s voice actress, Kana Hanazawa, were present and they were all “armed” with Dominators.
To promote the new movie, the second trailer has also been streamed.
Hanazawa, who is best known for her roles as OreImo’s Kuroneko and Infinite Stratos’s Charlotte Dunois, stood right at the center of her male counterparts while holding her Dominator in hand. Also with her were Hiroshi Kamiya (Monogatari’s Koyomi Araragi) who voices Nicholas Wong, Seki Tomokazu (Fate’s Gilgamesh) who voices Shinya Kougami, Kenji Nojima (Sailor Moon: Crystal’s Tuxedo Mask) who voices Nobuchika Ginoza, and director Naoyoshi Shiotani.
Several of the screenshots from the movie were also released.
The movie is set four years after the events of the first season. After trying out the Sibyl System, the SEAUn (the South East Asia Union) has finally experienced peace after years of civil war, however, several terrorists from the country have infiltrated Tokyo to attack the Sibyl System, and it is up to Akane and her team to stop them.
