Live-action My Love Story/ Ore Monogatari"s Takeo, Yamato, and Sunakawa are revealed

The romantic comedy anime, My Love Story, or Ore Monogatari!, has become one of this year’s most popular romance anime titles, but did you know that it is also getting itself a live-action movie? The upcoming movie’s official website has revealed the three actors portraying the main characters and released a new visual revealing them in costume.

The hulking main character, Takeo Gouda, will be played by Ryohei Suzuki (Hentai Kamen’s Kyousuke Shikijou), who bulked up with his own personal training regimen just for the role and gained over 30Kg in weight. Currently 32, Suzuki will try his best in acting as a 15-year old gentle giant. Mei Nagano, who previously appeared as the live-action Rurouni Kenshin’s Tsubame Sanjo, will be playing his tiny lady love, Rinko Yamato. Finally, Takeo’s best friend and neighbor, Makoto Sunakawa, will be played by Kentarou Sakaguchi. I can now imagine Ryohei Suzuki saying “Yamato Sukiiii” in a very deep voice.

This live-action Ore Monogatari movie is set to premiere this October 31, 2015 and will be directed by Hayato Kawai and its script will be written by Library War’s Akiko Nogi. It will be based on the best-selling romance manga by Kazune Kawahara and Aruko. Now let’s all say it: Yamato Sukiiii!!!!!!!!!
