Who is the WORST GIRL in Shounen Jump? Fans vote for the magazine"s "Worst Heroine"

Weekly Shounen Jump! magazine is one of Japan’s most well known manga magazines, as it has introduced us to many legendary anime titles like Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, and even Nisekoi and To Love-Ru. The series has also introduced plenty of heroines, though it is clear that many of them aren’t that popular, and even hated.

In a new poll done by ranking website, Goo, they asked 500 people (250 male and 250 female) to vote for the Shounen Jump! heroine that they think is the worst. Fans were allowed to vote multiple times, and here is the Top 20:

20 – Aika Hiiragi (Mx0)

19 – Kaoru Kamiya (Rurouni Kenshin)

18 – Lala Deviluke (To Love-Ru)

17 – Dakki (Hoshin Engi)

16, 15, 14, 13 (4-way tie) – Miho Akizuki (Bakuman), Himeko Onizuka (Sket Dance), Nami (One Piece), and Sakurako Amamiya (Psyren)

12 – Chika Amatori (World Trigger)

11 – Tsukasa Nishino (Strawberry 100%)

10 – Kokomi Teruhashi (Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan)

1 -Ochako Uraraka (My Hero Academia)

screen-shot-2016-05-15-at-7-21-29-am

While a lot of people are still clearly not gotten over the ending of Nisekoi, Ochako manages to take the top spot in Goo’s ranking, beating out Chitoge. While both heroines have strong followings themselves, as this poll has shown, many manga readers really don’t like them that much.

Though the same could be said for Erina Nakiri, who has a lot of fans, and even Death Note’s Misa Amane, who through the years has gotten a lot of haters despite also having a strong fanbase, however, #5 is surprising as Kagura is named to the list. As for Sakura, we’re not surprised at all…

So, who is your most hated Shounen Jump heroine? You can also check out the heroines who got ranked lower, at #21 – 48, here: http://ranking.goo.ne.jp/ranking/category/999/8_626wPPNcnf/p5/

Which anime school uniform do anime fans want to wear the most? Charapedia ranks the Top 20

Anime school uniforms are a staple during cosplay events, but sometimes, it makes one wonder how it would feel actually wearing one for everyday use, like actual students of that school from the anime.

For this week’s Charapedia poll, of the 10,000 anime fans who voted, an overwhelming 82.5% of voters were actually female, while only 17.5% were male. This is because the focus of the poll were anime school uniforms, and from the looks of things, a lot of women really want to wear the uniforms of certain schools in anime. Here are the Top 20:

20 – Fukuroudani High School (Haikyuu!!)

19 – Hope’s Peak Academy (Danganronpa)

18 – Sakuragaoka Girls’ High School (K-On!)

17 – Uranohoshi Girls’ High School (Love Live! Sunshine!!)

16 – Tokiwadai Middle School (A Certain series)

15 – Mitakihara Middle School (Madoka Magica)

2 – Teikou Middle School (Kuroko’s Basketball)

1 – Otonokizaka High School (Love Live!)

Love_Live!_μ

And the school uniform that fans want to wear the mosty is the uniform of Otonokizaka High School, and we are absolutely not surprised at all. Love Live! actually has a huge female fanbase, and with more than 80% of the voters being female, it’s no wonder why many actually want to wear their uniform.

And with more than 80% of the voters being female, it’s not surprising that we see a lot of sports anime in the Top 20, particularly the schools featured in Kuroko’s Basketball, Haikyuu!!, and Free!.

As for those anime that are a bit more male-oriented (that’s not Love Live!), The Irregular at Magic High School scores big and takes 5th place because those uniforms are just damn cool to look at.
