Haruhi spin-off manga, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan has also ended

It seems that a lot of popular manga titles are ending this month, and not just Bleach and Nisekoi. One of the casualties for August 2016 is Puyo’s The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, which ended last August 4.

The final chapter was included in the September 2016 edition of Young Ace magazine, which was released last August 4, 2016. Meanwhile, the manga’s 10th and final tankoubon compilation volume will be released February 2017.

Puyo launched The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan as a spin-off to the Haruhi Suzumiya series and focuses on the alternate world Kyon ended up in during the events of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. The series focuses on the more “normal” versions of the characters, including a much more emotional Nagato. The anime adaptation premiered last April 2015 with the anime’s original Japanese voice cast reprising their respective roles.
