New details have emerged for the live-action movie adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga. According to a leaked scan from the upcoming Issue #38 of Weekly Shounen Jump! magazine, which also contains the final chapter of the Bleach manga, the actor who will be playing the lead role of Ichigo Kurosaki will be Sota Fukushi.
The scan also revealed that Shinsuke Sato, who is also directing the new live-action Death Note: Light Up the New World movie, as well as the live-action Gantz movie, will be at the helm of this one as well.
As for Sota Fukushi, he previously starred in the live-action movie adaptation of the shoujo manga/anime series, Say I Love You, and also appeared in Kamen Rider Fourze.
The issue didn’t announce much details about the movie, but more will surely be revealed in the future.
