In anime, there are all sorts of big brothers. There are those ideal types who are kind to their siblings, the pranksters, and of course, there are those with the sister complex. Japanese anime news website, Animeanime recently asked 700 people to vote for the anime big brother they think is the best.
Remember though, that these are just the anime big brothers, so if you have that real-life friend who absolutely dotes on his sister, gets jealous when guys flirt with her, holds hands with her, is really clingy with her, and his friends even ship him with her because of his clear sister complex (and I really do know one person), he doesn’t count (unfortunately). Here are the Top 10:

9 – Kyousuke Kousaka (OreImo)
8 – Kirito (Sword Art Online)
7 – Itachi Uchiha (Naruto)
6 – Touya Kinomoto (Cardcaptor Sakura)
5 – Osomatsu Matsuno (Mr. Osomatsu)
4 – Portgas D. Ace (One Piece)
3 – Edward Elric (Full Metal Alchemist)
2 – Tatsuya Shiba (The Irregular at Magic High School)
1 – Makoto Tachibana (Free!)
WHAT?! Makoto beat Tatsuya?! And Kyousuke only 9th?! Oh yeah, not everyone here has a sister complex like those two…
While Kyousuke and Tatsuya are clearly siscons, #1 ranked Makoto is a kind big brother type, who takes care of his siblings, which is kinda the same #3-ranked Edward, who is definitely no Shou Tucker when it comes to his treatment of family members.
