Back in June 26, 1997, the very first Digimon virtual pet game was launched, and it sparked a revolution which would later become the anime which would define many of our childhoods. Now, a special countdown website has been launched, and it counts down to what could be a big announcement for the Digimon franchise.
The countdown is set to end on January 6, 2017, at 10:00 am Japanese Standard Time. We know when this countdown will reach zero, however, we still don’t know what they will be announcing when it does end, so stay tuned for more announcements.
Meanwhile, the Digimon anime franchise celebrated its 15th anniversary back in 2014, with the announcement of the launch of the Digimon Adventure tri. series.
