h Ryuk! It has been well-documented that Death Note’s Ryuk really loves apples, and with Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen, or PPAP going viral, it’s a no brainer that the Shinigami would sing his own version of the song, which would also promote the brand new Death Note: Light Up the New World film.
Oh Ryuk… I bet he ate the apple they shot that video.
Death Note: Light up the New World is currently airing in Japan, and is actually the forst movie to knock off Makoto Shinkai’s your name. from the top spot in the Japanese box office. It follows a new cast of characters, with the successors of Light and L battling over multiple Death Notes which are found all over the world.
