Attack on Titan may be 2013′s most successful anime series and it is evident with how well their merchandise is doing.
Yesterday, December 25, 2013, reservations for the 60cm Levi Doll by Dolk opened but was quickly stopped as the doll has sold out within minutes.
These Levi dolls were only made in limited quantities and had a price of 123,900 yen (US$1,183 ). The price may be high but these dolls were so popular that the fans did not mind how expensive it really is and bought them to the point of being sold out through the reservations alone.
According to a tweet by coj_wd, the reservations started at 7:00 pm Japan time and were sold out within just 30 minutes.
These dolls are ball-jointed and come with various effects and accessories like Levi’s removable jacket and Survey Corps cape and his 3D Maneuver Gear. It is sculpted by IOS and comes with a cushion, certificate and box.
