Warner Brothers Japan’s official Rurouni Kenshin live action movie website posted a new image previewing main villain Makoto Shishio‘s deadly band of swordsmen, the Juppongatana.
The image shows Shishio in the middle of the Juppongatana members which include Soujirou Seta, Chou the Sword Hunter, the manipulative Houji Sadojima, the mad monk Anji and many more.
Ryunosuke Kamiki will be playing Soujirou Seta, Ryousuke Miura will be playing Chou the Sword Hunter, Kenichi Takitou will play Houji Sadojima, Tomomi Maruyama is Anji Yuukyuuzan, Matsu Murata plays Usui Uonuma, Hiroko Yashiki plays Kamatari Honjou, Yuuya Hara plays Henya Kariwa, Takao Yamada plays Iwanbou, Kentarou Shimazu as Saizuchi and Kouta Yamaguchi plays Fuji.
The website also revealed the release dates for the two sequel movies which will be shown later this year. Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire) will premiere on August 1, 2014 while Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend) will hit Japanese theaters on September 13, 2014.
