Everyone’s favorite angelic virtual diva from Japan, Hatsune Miku, has recently made huge waves in New York like her performance in the Late Show with David Letterman as well as her ongoing art exhibition in New York where Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura showed everyone his take on Miku.
And during that very art exhibition titled Universal Positivity @ Wallplay, Crypton Future Media and Square Enix unveiled a new Hatsune Miku video featuring the renowned Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts video game artist’s Miku artwork. The video was unveiled by Tetsuya Nomura himself along with Crypton president Hiroyuki Itou.
The video has not been uploaded in the internet yet, however, Japanese gaming magazine, Famitsu, was present during the event and featured several screenshots.
A couple of outdoor screens were also seen outside the venue and both also showed the new Miku video.
Famitsu was also kind enough to include a few images from the Miku exhibition as well. The Hatsune Miku Universal Positivity @ Wallplay featured a life-size Miku statue, a guide to introduce people what and who Miku is, and a few Miku artworks, figures, and merchandise.
Square Enix is also responsible for making the Play Arts Kai figures, and with all the Miku mania going on, they also unveiled a new Play Arts Kai Hatsune Miku which is also based on Tetsuya Nomura’s design.
